Septic Inspection in Northwest Arkansas

A septic inspection checks the tank, baffles, and visible field signs before a backup or a closing date decides for you.

What a septic inspection looks at

A septic inspection is a look at the system before a backup or a closing date makes the decision for you. BBB already distinguishes two visits. A peace-of-mind inspection is included with a pump-out and is a visual check of baffles, lateral-field signs, and visible condition. A formal inspection is a pass or fail report, and it is the one commonly used in real estate. Both review the same visible components: the tank, baffles, and visible signs in the lateral field.

Buyers should ask when the tank was last pumped, whether there have been repairs or backups, how often a diversion valve is turned if the property has one, and whether permits or records exist. Bedroom count matters because systems are designed to the number of bedrooms. The real estate FAQ is the longer list for agents and sellers.

This page does not invent a turnaround time, a sample report, or a price. Those three facts, plus any scope beyond the visual check already published, stay off the production page until Jon writes them down.

A peace-of-mind inspection rides with a pump-out. The published pump-out includes tank pumping, a disposal fee, one back-flush, and that visual check. A formal inspection is the separate pass or fail report used when a house is under contract. Bedroom count matters because the system is designed to the number of bedrooms. Buyers should also ask whether a diversion valve is turned, whether permits exist, and when the last pump receipt was written. The shop is in Rogers and the office is in Bentonville. The same Arkansas installer and pumper licenses cover both visits. Preferred Customer Program members still get weekday priority if the inspection turns into a covered repair. None of those facts is a price, a sample report, or a promised turnaround.

Signs to schedule an inspection

Schedule one when you are buying or selling, when nobody can find the last pump receipt, or when the house already shows slow drains, odors, wet spots, alarms, or unusually green grass over the lines. Those signs can also mean repair or drain field work. The inspection tells you which conversation you are in.

A metal tank is not pumped. If the inspection finds metal, the next call is replacement, not a pump-out.
