Septic System Repair in Northwest Arkansas

We diagnose and repair tanks, drain fields, pumps, and the components in between.

Repair for any system without unnecessary costs

At BBB, we do honest work, and that means we only recommend repairs you actually need. We'll also tell you about repairs coming down the road, so you can plan for them instead of paying more once the problem gets worse. Often we can save you money and stress by repairing the damaged parts of your septic system instead of replacing the whole thing. Strong odors and sewage backing up into your home are unpleasant at best, and they will quickly damage your property.

Parts we repair

  • Distribution box (D-box). The D-box sends wastewater from the tank out to the lateral lines. Over time it can crack, wear out, or shift. We check it and repair or replace it when it’s damaged, so flow through the system is even again.
  • Pumps and alarms. Some systems use a pump to move wastewater from one part to the next, and an alarm to warn you when something isn’t working. If an alarm is going off or a pump has stopped, the technician looks for the cause and tells you whether it needs a repair or a new pump.
  • Diversion valves. Some systems have a valve that sends wastewater to different sections of the drain field. A valve that is stuck, damaged, or hard to reach may need cleaning, better access, or a new valve.

How a repair visit works

  1. Understand the problem. We ask what you’re seeing and what you know about the system.
  2. Check the system. The technician looks at the parts we can reach for signs of what’s wrong.
  3. Explain what we found. We tell you what we saw and what the visit could not show.
  4. Go over the options. If a repair makes sense, we explain the work and the next step.

When a repair isn’t enough

Some problems can’t be fixed with a repair. Vacuuming the lateral lines can’t fix a collapsed pipe or bring back a drain field that has failed. Not every tank can be safely repaired, and some have to be replaced.

In Arkansas, a licensed Designated Representative can evaluate the property and design a replacement system when one is needed. Once the septic permit is approved, we can give you an installation estimate.

When that's the case, we'll say so. The next step is drain field repair or, once a licensed Designated Representative has an approved design and permit, installation.

Wisetack financing for septic system repair

Larger septic system repairs in Northwest Arkansas can be a major expense. We offer Wisetack financing for qualified customers on eligible repairs and septic projects.

Wisetack financing is for larger septic repairs and septic projects. It is not for standard pump-outs or routine pumping.

Financing is subject to credit approval. Payment options are provided through Wisetack and its lending partners. Terms, rates, and eligibility vary. A 3-month 0% APR option is available to qualified customers; not all applicants will qualify.
